Dish description
This mango lassi recipe is a bit of a quick fix for those who can’t get hold of fresh mangoes.
Mango lassi is a well known drink from India and Pakistan and is popular worldwide. It can be made with or without additional sugar.
Here is the (very easy) recipe , courtesy of our guest blogger Spice and Curry.
How to Make Mango Lassi
We remember drinking mango lassi during summer time a lot. This was and is one of our favorite drinks. We would eagerly wait for summers to have our favourite mangoes and mango lassi.
However this winter when I was craving for mango lassi, I got hold of some mango Nector from our local grocery shop and here it is mango lassi made in the easiest way possible.
My little daughter shares the same passion for it like me, so here’s a super quick recipe for when you haven’t got any fresh mangoes to hand.
Mix all of the ingredients in a blender at a low speed, pour into serving glasses, chill and enjoy.
Ingredients for Mango Lassi
1 cup of fresh yoghurt.
2-3 tablespoons or ¼ cup of Tropicana Mango Nector
1 x tablespoon of sugar
Pinch of salt
Some ice-cubes 1-2 (optional)
