Around about 2005 I lost my job in engineering after almost two decades in the industry. This was the first time I had been unemployed and it wasn't great to be honest. So I decided to start my own marketing consultancy. After a tough first year I walked into a meeting with the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway (Northern) Association and Curry Culture was born.
The curry industry is generally poorly served by the media. Trade magazines are often dreadful and I wanted to create something that highlighted the best of the industry to both those who work in it and the public who love it so much.
Curry Culture has evolved over the years and will carry on doing so but our mission remains the same....
"We are here to talk about all things curry related and to celebrate the good, call out the bad and do our best to support the great world of curry."
We cover everything from restaurant reviews to recipes . Wherever there is curry we will try to be there. There may also be the odd diversion off into beer as this is another great love of ours but we can't see anyone objecting to that.
Curry Culture is split into:
- Reviews of curry restaurants and products - some requested, others not
- Curry recipes we like or like the look of
- Information on spices and ingredients
- Curry related news and opinion pieces
- Curry professionals - news for the industry and those who work in it
Please use the contact page if you wish to ask a question or you can leave a comment against any of the posts.
Kind Regards
